8 STYLE HANDCUFF

These heavy nickel plated rigid handcuffs are a hybrid between of Figure 8 handcuff with a Hamburg 8 locking system. Despite the heavy weight, the handcuffs are quite comfortable to wear, because the shackles are 2 cm wide and all edges are very smoothly rounded. The restraint can be snap shut – so to lock these handcuffs you just have to push the bows together. For unlocking the key needs to be inserted into the lock case to press the lock-latch down, which allows the cuff to be opened. This is of course not the most secure of all locking systems, but it is fast and easy to handle and there is almost no danger that the lock might ever be defective causing the cuff to stay shut.
